Pressure Field Simulation

In our research group, we use a pressure field simulation software package called Field II , written by Dr. Joergen Jensen, of the Technical University of Denmark. This is a public domain simulation package, which Dr. Jensen has made available under several different operating systems. Field_II is written in MATLAB . In order for you to use the Field_II tutorial, you must have MATLAB running on your machine. You must then do the following:
The files that you downloaded in steps 1 and 2 above are compressed.  If you are on a unix system, you must use the following commands to access the files:
        % gunzip filename.tar.gz
        % tar xf filename.tar

If you are on a PC, you will need to either run winzip, or select the self-extracting version for downloading.

Once you have downloaded these tools, run through the Field II tutorial, which will teach you how to use them.

If you don't have MATLAB on your system:

We are developing a matlab server, in conjunction with Mathworks the developers of MATLAB.  This will allow you to submit jobs and run MATLAB on our server.  It will be slower than downloading the code and running locally on your system, so if you have access to MATLAB, it would be faster to download the code as explained above.  Some examples of how the server works are provided .
